Description: This is a vintage real photo postcard (RPPC), unposted and featuring a view of the Lake McDonald Hotel at Glacier National Park in Montana. Originally named Lewis Glacier Hotel and now known as the Lake McDonald Lodge, the hotel opened in 1914. The name was changed to Lake McDonald Lodge in 1957. Photo circa 1940s. Note back of postcard has remnants where it was previously mounted in a scrapbook. Does not affect front view of photo.
