Description: The typewriter does turn on but most of the key presses are weak and most don't make contact with the paper. All the type bars move freely when the key is pressed but they don't have much momentum to make an impression. I'm not a typewriter expert but I think it may be related to the rubber roller on the bottom of the typewriter being worn down. The q letter works great and the fraction key works perfectly. Cosmetically the typewriter is in good condition. There is wear on the hard edges of the machine and some scratching on the left side. The motor sounds good and the typewriter advances properly and returns properly. Tab works properly and clear and set works. Space works perfectly and the ink ribbon advances and rewinds properly. Includes a metal ink ribbon reel. Shift works properly. There is a small screw missing from the back flap so sometimes the flap rattles around a little bit when typing on.
