Description: Ridgway & Morley Bird & Tree Hand Colored Transferware 9 Inch Plate C. 1842-1845 Nice ironstone plate. Decorated in the Bird & Tree pattern in black transfer. With hand colored highlights in cobalt, ocher, orange, and pink. Has an impressed Real Ironstone China mark above a printed Ironstone China Mark. Has usage wear consistent with age, glaze wear along the inner rim of the plate, and wear to the enamel, but no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. AW GX
