Description: Renée Lubarow(French, b. 1923-2017) Painter and engraver, Renée Lubarow was born in 1923 in Seyssins in the Isère department. Her training begins at the Grenoble School of Decorative Arts. She then begins to teach the drawing. In 1951, she fixed in Paris and entered the Henri Goetz painting academy in 1957, then at the engraving workshop of Johnny Friedlaender in 1960. She then became a drawing teacher again. Now, without abandoning painting, she favors engraving. It participates in collective exhibitions, notably in the Krakow Biennale. At the same time, in 1965, it multiplied personal exhibitions in Europe and the United States. It is essentially engravings and sometimes diptychs and triptychs that are exposed.
