Description: For sale is a complete set of silverplate bell ornaments for the 12 Days of Christmas by Reed & Barton. Beginning in 1977 Issued as a "two-by-two" annual series, these ornaments take inspiration from the cherished carol. The bells follow the original carol lyrics with dimension handles atop the 1 1/2" bell; heights vary with ornaments up to 3" total height. The bells have clappers and loops at top of figure for hanging. There are two versions of the insert among the six original boxes; one has illustrations of the series on the back. The bells are in very good condition with varying patinas. They are in paired in original boxes; the boxes have different degrees of age-related discoloring and storage wear.
