Description: Rare - Theodore Roosevelt: Arizona Statehood Button. 7/8" Sepia real photo button showing Theodore Roosevelt, inscribed "Arizona for Joint-Statehood". New Mexico and Arizona became the 47th and 48th states on January 6th and February 14th, 1912. We assume this button was issued some years earlier, during Roosevelt's presidency, when there was the possibility of "joint statehood" discussed. The front of this button is in good condition. The back is not. Parts of the paper on the back side of the button are missing and the round part of the back of the button is rough. Please refer to the pictures for the condition. If you have any questions or need more pictures, please email me. A rare button to add to your collection. FREE SHIPPING Thank you for shopping with us.
