Description: This is such a lovely rare 1920's cloche hat with the desired wide brim. Has embellished embroidered cut work on brim as well as floral applique on crown and inside of brim. The appliques are trimmed with gold silk thread. The crown and inside brim has some loss of the silk velvet. But, even with some of the velvet loss, this hat is still a gorgeous piece and very wearable. Also to note, the silk lining is worn but is still intact in some areas. (please see photos)Also to note, The edge of the brim has a nice wire along the inside of the edge to keep the brim stable.Other than what I have mentioned, this hat is in absolutely good to very good condition with no holes, tears, rips or repairs. I would have said this hat is in excellent condition but because of the imperfections I have mentioned I would say good to very good condition.I am so amazed that this hat being from the 1920's is in such wonderful condition.
