These buttons are transfer pictures on paper set under a domed celluloid shield and mounted in metal and include famous architectural structures including the Eiffel Tower. These button were designed by and made for Elsa Schiaparelli the famous fashion designer for her design studios in Paris. These buttons are charming and always desirable. Elsa was a descendant from am aristocratic Italian background. She started her studio in 1927 in Paris France and continued to manage it from the 1930's to the 1950's.
