The largest private glass collection I have ever seen. This lady collected glass for over 40 years and all was on display. This is a rare antique approximately 9 1/2" lemonade or water pitcher with a stand up ruffle top and 3 matching 3 3/4" tumblers. The set is in the Daisy and Fern Opalescent pattern was first made by Harry Northwood, ca. 1880. The pitcher has no nicks, chips, or cracks. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. No glued repairs. No restoration. 1 tumbler has a outside flake with a hairline crack. This is shown in the last enlarged photos. 1 tumbler has 2 very tiny flea bites on the rim. Too small for my camera to pick up. The other tumbler also has 1 very tiny rim flea bite. None of the nicks, or the 1 flake alter the shape of the tumblers. This is a beautiful, extremely hard to find, antique Northwood glassware set. Picture #2 was taken with a flash to show the opalescent.
