Description: Crafted in copper and brass this Dallah was tinned at some juncture and still bears evidence of it. Beautifully hand-hammered copper body with brass finial, lid and handle. We are not experts in this field of collection so will let the photos speak the loudest. Please inquire for any questions they don't answer. At approx. 21.5cm in height, it has an exceptionally attractive shape, with elegantly curved body, long pouring beak and functional hand wrought handle. There is a hammered makers-mark prominent on the body side, the identify of which we are uncertain. We are guessing more knowledgeable collectors may know. There are two dents in the body on the one side but are only visible in the correct sighting. We tried to show it in the photos. It appears there was quite a bit of detail that has rubbed away over the years but what remains speaks volumes. In its size, we feel it is the most beautiful currently available on the market here on eBay for anywhere else for that matter. SHIPPING:We are charging $49 total for shipping. A are guessing the final sale price will require insurance cost of a bit higher than normal. Will probably be purchasing it directly at the Post Office since eBay only permits $1000.00 worth of insurance purchasable on the site.
