Description: This pipe is being sold as is for restoration. 1940's era Yello Bole pipes were in fact Kaywoodie seconds and as you can see by vintage shape chart in the photos, this is Kaywoodie's extremely rare shape #23C. KB&B is the company that made the first Kaywoodie pipes back in 1919 and then in 1932, they began making the first Yello Bole pipes as well. This pipe has a crack on the bowl (see photo) and the stem shows discoloration from age (see photos). Compare this #23C shaped Yello Bole, with any other you may find, that is also actually available for sale. This KB&B Yello Bole is so old, that it has a normal "push stem" type tenon which many collectors prefer. Any pipe collector would enjoy having this rare Yello-Bole in their collection.
