Description: Great sounding and surprisingly sensitive Radio Shack model 12-795 direction finding multiband radio (AM/CB (11m)/SW/FM/Air/VHF/Marine/WX). While this set has most of the standard features you might expect for other multiband sets, it also has 2 that are very commonly overlooked. First, the radio has a built-in PA mode. Add a microphone (3.5mm jack), and the radio can be put into PA mode to address groups. This is especially handy in a set with this design (handles and carrying strap). Second, and even more importantly, it uses the combination of a directional antenna and visual signal meter to transform this into set into a radio direction finder. Find out which direction everything from major broadcast stations to local amateur radio operators are, relative to your receiving position. This set is in very nice condition physically. Please see pictures for a visual description, but I didn't notice any scratches, cracks, or breaks. The only "issue" I did notice is that I had trouble getting the fine tuning knob to fully engage.
