We paid our tech for an hour and a half of his time to fix this Gnome and told him to stop because, as a business, time is money. Fortunately, most of Paia fans are DIY electronics hobbyists who enjoy fixing their own gear, so we decided to sell this as-is and lets whoever buys it fix it instead of continuing paying our tech and possibly paying him more than its worth to fix this thing. Initially, this unit didnt power up. This was due to a bad connection in the power switch, which we cleaned. Our tech's notes say pots and switches still need cleaning. Filter range does not work, envelope generator does not work (no envelope signal). His notes say this may be due to a bad IC or wiring, and thats as far as we let him go. We're sure he could fix it, we just don't want to pay him what it will cost to fix as this is a low value item and we have much bigger fish to fry. No guarantees, warranties, returns or refunds.
