This listing is for the Strat-O-Matic Baseball Game cards based on 1981 player statistics and includes the full additional player set. The season set has 26 teams with 20 cards each. The Additional Player Set includes four cards per team for a total of 104 additional cards for players assigned to teams. There are two additional cards in the Additional Player Set that do not specify a team and are for players that spent time on multiple teams. The cards will be provided with the team they played the most games for. These players are (and the team set you will find them placed in): 1 – Doug Bair (Reds) 2 – Rafael Landestoy (Astros) In total you will receive 626 (520 + 104 + 2) cards. The 1981 cards are setup for Basic and Advanced play. Also included is the original roster sheet. The roster sheet calls this set 1982 because it was originally released at the start of spring training of that year. This practice was Strat-O-Matic’s card set naming convention at the time, which always caused a bit of confusion. This practice was changed in 1990, and since then the rosters have specified the season on which the cards were based. Additionally, the original sheet with the optional Supplementary Stealing System ratings is included. The cards for each team have been sorted in the order of the roster sheet so you can quickly and easily confirm the completeness of the set.
