Description: This lightning rod arrow is in rustic condition and nicely aged from 100 plus years in the weather. It would make a great wall decoration or repaired and put on roof it would proudly show the wind direction.It is about as straight as you would expect brass and cast iron to be.There is some gray black remnants in places that is likely remnants of galvanization. It adds to the charming look. The green patina looks nice and even on the tail rod.The weather vane is NOT marked but looks just like a KRETZER from ST LOUIS.The solid cast iron casting is in good condition with typical pits from years in the weatherThe horse or what ever was on tail has broken off.The small rod that held the animal has been bent up/down slightly.The cast iron has great texture and color from its years on top of a house or barn.The point is 3 1/8" tall The whole arrow is 32 3/4" long from point to tail.The pivot hole is 1” in diameter and has a little wear that you would expect.The center pivot casting is 1 5/8” tall 7–31-23 A-16 Visit our store for see more great items!
