The dress features a wonderful image of a black woman's head appliqued to the left front shoulder as well as palm trees appliques on each of the front pockets. The garment was intended to be worn as a pinafore or apron having only two buttons at the top of the back and then hanging open from there down. The condition is excellent with very minor wear and light soiling to the surface but no rips, tears or repairs. There are no makers or size tags present, however, the current measurements are as given below taken with the garment laying flat.
