ORIGINAL STAMPING AND DATE CODE ARE NCRS CORRECT FOR MID TO LATE END OF THE YEAR OF 1962 AND UP TO SEPTEMBER AND POSSIBILY OCTOBER OF 1963 MODEL CORVETTE AND ANY PASSENGER CARS WITH A 327 ENGINE. THE PRODUCTION DATE CODE IS "2E8" MAY 8TH 1962. ALSO SOLENOID # 1114356. THIS STARTER HAS ALL FOUR CORRECT SLOTTED CASE SCREWS AND ALSO THE CORRECT ATTACHING SOLENOID SCREWS. THIS STARTER WORKED WHEN REMOVED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO (DUE TO WRONG DATE CODE FOR MY CAR) BUT I AM LISTING IT AS PROBLEY NEEDS REBUILT. AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO THE CASE DOES HAVE A STAMPING FORM AN PREVIOUS REBUILD. Please look at all the pictures as they are a big part of the description. Please DO ask questions.
