Description: Normal 0 This is a new DELCO REMY (GM) ignition switch . It is an OEM NOS DELCO REMY (GM) switch, not an aftermarket replacement. The part number is 1116550 (D1489) , it is in group # 7.6300 of the GM parts catalogs . GM used a different group number system is unused and has been on my warehouse shelf since it was purchased from GM. The part is stamped 5 & Delco Remy on the bakelite. The original part number was 1116538 as shown in one of the illustrations. It may fit some 1958 GMC models & some Chevrolet trucks. According to GM It fits: 1957 GMC TRUCK The part number may have been later superseded to fit other models, but this is the only correct application in the original listings.
