This genuine copper engraved map was first designed by Nicolas Sanson (1600 - 1667) and published by Alexis Hubert Jaillot (1632 - 1712) around 1700. This is the revised edition by Desnos / Brion de la Tour (1743 – 1803), published in 1783. It measures 46 x 65 cm (plate size) and is in good condition.
