Description: This is an unusually beautiful original oil painting that Norman Mingo (January 25, 1896 – May 8, 1980) executed in the mid-1950s, possibly for a perfume advertising campaign. The superbly rendered blonde model is holding a Pekingese in one hand and perfume bottle in the other. Notice Mingo's New York City address label on the back of the artist's board and, his signature on the lower left of the painting. Mingo is well known as a Mad Magazine artist. With the frame, the painting measures about 20.5 inches by 14.5 inches Without the frame, the painted image measures about 6 inches H x 13 inches W.
