Description: This auction includes a Salt and Pepper Shaker Set. Noritake Christmas Ball 175. These have a gold Noritake stamp on the bottom. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on these pieces. This particular style of Salt and Pepper Shaker is hard to find. They are 3 1/2 inches tall. They both have the original plastic stopper, one stopper is yellowed a little from the pepper. Green Backstamp – Dates the piece from 1906 to 1940.Gold Backstamp – Dates the piece from 1947 until 1991.Blue Maruki Spoke Nippon Backstamp – used by Noritake starting in 1912 and placed on items destined for export in the UK and European markets. I am selling over 200 pieces of this pattern (no dinner, luncheon, salad or bread plates). Many of the pieces I’m selling are older, hard to find pieces.
