Description: McCall's New York Designer's Collection Plus N/1041. Designed by Arlette of Real for Joan Arkin. Pattern to sew single breasted jacket and dress with four section side pleated skirt shown on the envelope front. According to information I found online, this pattern was made to create a costume worn by Julie Christie for the 1968 movie, Petulia. Note on the envelope, below the photo it states "Arlette of Real for Joan Arkin Photographed in San Francisco." There has been some speculation that it is Julie Christie in the photo. I am not sure. It looks like Julie Christie, but it could be a look alike. Fun and interesting. Size 8--31.523/33.5" Vintage: Copyright dated 1968 Condition: Cut, all major pieces are in the envelope. I am not finding the back facing piece. I circled that piece in the envelope back scan. Envelope is soft with minor ripping, wrinkling, and yellowing/tanning. Thanks for stopping by today.
