Description: New replacement for A-16922 and A-17565 Eddy Current Proximity Sensor II and III circuit boards used in Star Trek The Next Generation Pinball. Fits original board mounting holes for A-16922 and A-17565. Size of the PCB is 2.75" X 1.25". Circuit is built around the final proximity sensor revision 3 with the service bulletin diode fixes applied. INSTALLATION NOTES: Fit the board, plug in both connectors and power on the game. If the LED1 SENSE is OFF, turn the R2 trim pot clockwise until the sense LED turns on. Then turn the trim pot back counter clockwise until roughly 1/16th of a turn past the point the LED1 SENSE turns off. If the LED1 Sense is ON, turn the R2 trim pot counter-clockwise 1/16th of a turn past the point the SENSE led turns off. If the game is not registering the ball, turn the R2 trim pot clockwise in the smallest increment possible and test again, repeat until it registers. If the SENSE LED is not behaving properly (always on). Test the inductor and the two pin connector. If the SENSE LED behaves properly but the game does not detect the ball in switch test, check MPU switch connectors and look for problems in the same column row as the problem sensor switch.
