This shirt was made by the Washington Manufacturing Company under the brand "WHANG," which they began to produce in 1978 and only made "Whang" Sports Apparel items through the early 80's, so this shirt was made sometime between 1978 and 1984. It is a wool product, because the tag says "WPL 5493," which means it was made with wool and can be traced to the Washington Manufacturing Co. The shirt is about a size medium; it is fairly short, just 28" long, and measures 22" pit to pit. It has Sooners in cursive stitched on the sleeve and UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA on the front with an embroidered basketball.
