Description: This is an original colored map of Naugatuck, prospect and Oxford, Connecticut from 1868. This very rare and fragile map is an excellent condition considering it’s over 150 years old. It shows some age marks as expected. The rear of the map has been partially reinforced to maintain structural support. It takes away nothing from the integrity and authenticity of the map. It’s aproximately 24“ x 15“. What makes this map unique is that it shows the names of the homeowners of the properties at the time with a little footprint, mark showing where their home was. This original map would look great matted and framed. A great conversation piece.
