Description: A Mullen mouth Pelham bit. I believe the bit is made of brass. The green mat the bit is resting on in the pictures is marked in one-inch squares. Please see the pictures for all measurements. You can see the chin chain and hooks are present. When I purchased this bit used in a hunter bridle along with a jump saddle, it was my impression the tack was from the 1950’s or 1960’s. The pictures are of the actual bit being sold.
