Description: My head started spinning, trying to research the date of this set. I doubt if it’s from the 30s even though it has a 1936 copyright on the rules sheet and 1935 on the money. If you can identify the date of this please share with me and I’ll update the listing. (A little more research makes me think this was made between 1946 & 1951) Monopoly 1930s? 1940s? 1950s? Game with Wood Pieces and Dice, Money, Deeds, Chance & Community Chest cards “A Parker Trading Game” I’m not sure why there are 9 player pieces when the rules say up to seven people can play. The box is pretty beat up and some of the deeds have creases. The Community Chest & Chance cards are blank on the up side and don’t have the funny pictures you usually see on the downside. On the deed cards Marvin Gardens has a $22 rent that I read might help date this. All deeds are here; 22 properties plus the two utilities & four railroads. There is lots of money including ten 500 dollar bills. They are blank on the opposite sides. Vintage No Board, I read somewhere that boards were sold separately, that struck me as odd.
