The black cover is not leather and it has wear around the edges and is a bit dirty. The back says Shrine of the Holy Relics Maria Stein, Ohio Founded 1875. The edges of the pages are dyed red. The previous owner filled out the identification page. There are a few bent corners inside. It contains: morning and night prayers, the angelus, the sacrifice of the mass, the divine praises, confession, communion, the benediction, litany of the virgin, litany of the holy name of Jesus, prayers of St Theresa, the 30 days' prayer, the holy rosary, the way of the cross, and the manner of serving at mass.
