Description: Dramatic glass block coffee table, probably from the 1970s, made by Imperial Imagineering. It has a heavy glass top with clear glass blocks arranged for the base. The glass top is thick (5/8") with a beveled edge. The top and base are separate pieces. The base weighs approximately 100 pounds and the top weighs another 70 pounds or so -- it is very heavy and substantial. The table top is approximately 42 inches in diameter and the table is 14 inches high. Imperial Imagineering Co. made these tables with various glass block configurations for coffee tables and end tables in the late 70s and early 80s. The top has a few light scuffs and scratches in the glass but nothing deep and distracting. Apologies for the distracting sky reflections in the photos.
