The microscope is very tiny, about 4" inches. It does work though, I was able to see thru the lens once I put a flashlight on the mirror to get to see thru lens. It is dusty from age, you will need to clean it up. Remember, this is a kid's toy, and the microscope is very small. You are receiving what is shown in the photo's.
