Description: In this listing we have a really nice partial doll outfit. This doll outfit was released by MGA as part of their Shadow High doll line, which is part of their Rainbow High series. This partial outfit originally came with the Ash Silverstone character. It’s a really neat gray scale outfit. It consists of a gray and white hoodie with black and silver accents, a pair of black leggings with silver plastic details at the knee, and a pair of white and gray plastic high top sneakers. This partial outfit is designed for the original Rainbow High boy body and will fit similar sized dolls. The jacket does not actually close (the silver buckles in the front don’t actually work), the pants have Velcro in the back, and the shoes have a slit in the back to help them go on the doll’s feet. This outfit was made in China. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors are a bit more muted in person. This doll outfit is in good shape. It has never been played with and was just taken out of the box. It does have some factory issues. The jacket is in good shape. The jacket is a bit wrinkled from how it was posed in the box. The jacket has a lot of excess threads. There are excess threads at the front opening of the jacket at the top and bottom, at the sleeves at the cuffs from the side seams, at the side seams, at the edges of the pockets and sewn on patches, and where the ribbons are sewn to the jacket and the fake buckles. The side seams are a little uneven at the sleeves with one side a little longer than the other. At the pockets the stitching is a little overworked and in some spots where they tucked the hem under, they didn’t fully tuck it under so the fabric that’s supposed to be inside is slightly visible from the edges. There are two silver circles stitched at the cuffs with a hole in the center. I believe this is so that the doll’s thumbs can go through the fabric at that spot. There is some tan discoloration at the holes, I think they used glue to finish the edge and it has a tan tint. The sleeves of the jacket are made from a fake leather material. I would be careful with the sleeves and the printed on lettering on back of the jacket. This type of fabric will crack and peel as it ages. I would be careful stretching the fabric, since it could cause the sleeves to crack and peel earlier. I think they they will crack and peel over time, but I would be careful just to keep that from happening as long as possible. The lettering is just printed on the fabric, so if the fabric stretches, it could cause the lettering to crack and peel. They also have excess threads at the back of the waistband where the Velcro is sewn on and at the bottom of the legs from the side seams. The side seams are a little uneven at the pant legs with one side a little longer than the other. The knees are a little bulged out because of the plastic decoration, but I assume when a doll is actually wearing them they won’t look so odd. I would be careful around the knees. Since the pants have to stretch to go on and the plastic details don’t stretch, if they’re forced too much stitches might break. Everything looks secure, I would just be careful with the knees when putting the pants on a doll. The shoes are in good shape. They do have seam lines and mold injection spots on them. There is some excess plastic along some of the seam lines. There is also some painting flaws to the shoes. It’s pretty minor, but when looking up close at the shoes you can see some small errors. The painted laces are pretty sloppy looking. There is also some spots of missing paint and some spots of excess paint to the shoes. It’s pretty minor, but you can see it when looking up close at the shoes. Please examine all pictures to see the exact condition of this partial doll outfit and please keep in mind some issues are more visible in person compared to pictures.
