Description: MEXICAN FOLK ART Vintage Hand Carved and Painted Wood DANCE MASK of Whiskered Man with Crown. Approximate Measurements: 12" (top of crown/head to bottom of beard whiskers) x 7" x 4". Amazing mask from a friend's antique/vintage Mexican folk art dance mask collection, which was part of a folk art mask wall display in their home. Mask was vintage and had been worn as an authentic dance mask prior to my friend purchasing it in Mexico in the 1970s. In wonderful condition for its age: typical age patina including flaking, wear, dings and worn paint. Missing some bristles/whiskers. See photos for condition details. This is one of several vintage dance masks from my friend's collection that I have listed. Will be carefully packaged in bubble wrap in a box. From smoke-free pet-free home.
