Description: A paper (or rather a paperboard) menu from "The Whitby Room" of what I'm guessing was in a hotel in Australia, mainly because it says: "Captain James Cook Hotel" in Manuka. Manuka, is a district in Australia, although there may well be Manukas elsewhere. My father traveled to New Zealand and Australia (among other countries) in the '70s, and brought this back at some point. Just guessing, though, since dad has passed away. The menu also says "Noahs," which could be the restaurant name, with the "Whitby Room" perhaps being one of its event rooms. Another clue pointing to the '70s is in the pricing of the meals. Under "entrees," Garlic Prawns are $1.75. Under "Grills," a sirloin steak is $2.30. That was a LONG time ago. If you're interested in menus of the past, I offer you this one for a fair price. I can ship it: A) First Class in a large envelope (with small bubble liner) or B) Ground Advantage (slightly higher in cost) in a thin cardboard sleeve with bubble protectorate. Either way, I'll be sure to package it safely. Please view my other listings and get combined shipping. I sell an array of items, from vintage and performance car parts, comic books, knick-knacks, art and oddities.
