Excellent condition, no pencil/ink markings, original factory printing. McCoy Trains began manufacturing in 1958 producing parts for standard gauge trains. The McCoy's home and factory were located south of Seattle, on the banks of the Green River in Kent, Washington. McCoy trains factory consisted of two old run down building which had been used as chicken coops. During 1960, an incident occurred which was to allow the McCoys to leave the wrecking business. Between 1960 and 1964 Bob McCoy restored standard gauge trains as well as manufacturing standard gauge parts. Bob McCoy, the company founder, died in 1995. His wife and son, Bob Jr., ran the company until 1998, when they ceased operations. McCoy trains have become highly collectible, many of the McCoy trains were produced in very limited quantities.
