Description: Family Crest Coat of Arms Shield Genealogy Namesake Last Name May 28 x 19 Preown “May” Family Chrest, a nice heavy metal shield to represent the house of May! Has some age on it but I’m not sure when or where it was made. It is made well though and has a nice chain on the back so that when it finds its new home, it’s ready and will be easy to go right up on the wall. The body of the shield is off white with blue trim, both of which have a crackle look too the finish. There is also red and yellow trim as well as what looks to be brass at the corners and behind the crest. It’s in good shape but there are some minor scratches, dents, or dings. There is also some areas where it has a small bit of discoloration, corrosion or maybe even rust. Look close at the photos to see the condition for yourself. I have not tried to clean it up because it looks fine just like it is but if you like, it would wax up nicely.
