MATCHED QUAD - EL34/6CA7 Vacuum Tubes - AMPEREX

Description: You are bidding on (1) matched quad of Amperex 6CA7 (EL34) electron tubes, made in Holland in 1977 (identical date codes of 77-25); removed from the same Dynaco Stereo 70 (1 and 2 were the left channel, and 3 and 4 were the right channel). Marked as 6CA7. These have been tested on two pieces of gear: a Maxi-Matcher and a calibrated/computerized Bitmatic Western Electric tester. All are xf4 codes (listed below). Gray plates, copper rods, 2 slots in the plates, dual mica spacers, black bases, and O getters; all have center holes in the guide pins. Tubes will ship in generic individual tube boxes. Note that we did not clean these tubes as we don't want to accidentally wipe off the silkscreen markings. Tubes will ship via USPS Priority Mail and the shipping cost does include full insurance for the total value in the event the package is lost or damaged in transit. Note we cannot accept returns for your tester values being different; we have tested these on 2 separate testers and are confident the tubes are as described, this is our business not a part-time flea market/garage operation, we have invested in high end tube testing gear for a reason. The testers we use are Phil Frakes's Bitmatic computerized Cardmatic testers from Tubesontheweb, the specific models are Western Electric KS-15874-L2's which were made for Western Electric by Hickok; we currently own two of these testers. Our backup testers which we use occasionally are military TV-10D/U's. For specialized tests, we employ one of our VTV Dual Triode Characterizers (for preamp tubes) as well as a Maxi-Matcher (for power tube matching).
