Matched Pink Sapphires From Rock Creek Montana Loose Gemstones 0.57 Oval Cut

Description: Perfectly matched pair of untreated sapphires prospected from the Rock Creek area in Montana. I purchased the rough directly from the prospector in the early 2000’s and faceted the rough a few years later in 2006. The rough crystal was an elongated tic tac type of shape, and because it was alluvial rough, it was very high quality with little to no feathering. This allowed me to cut the rough longways and pre-form Aan oval out of each side. I finished them with fancy scissor oval cuts. Because these came from the same piece of rough they are a perfect match. Both sapphires measure 5x3 MM and the pair has a combined weight of 0.57 vatays. Beautiful soft bubble gum pink color and completely eye clean clarity. Strong brilliance and luster. The proportioned cuts also add fire to the scintillation of both gemstones. The pictures don’t do these sapphires justice! I am still learning the ins and out of taking quality photos of gemstones, so please bear with me. Sapphires from this region are extremely rare and valuable. Often times considered priceless in sizes outside of the melee range. This is a great matched pair for collectors and jewelers alike.
