Description: Stunning 11th Airborne Tactical Marked M1-C paratrooper helmet from the 675th Airborne Field Artillery Battalion. Shell came out of the McCord factory as a fixed loop with dimple strikes by the loops and having a lot number of 280A. Then it was converted either late or post war into a swivel loop helmet and had T-1 para chinstraps with OD painted hardware installed. A name with likely a serial number was painted inside but was crudely removed. Liner is a CAPAC and dated 1951 in excellent condition with uber rare WW2 transitional OD3/7 chincup. This will be a fine example of an 11th Airborne 1950’s tac marked jump helmet in your collection.
