They began supplying restaurants with custom aprons in the 1950s. The three-letter abbreviation for Idaho (Ida) on the tag suggests that this particular apron was produced some time before 1963 when all state abbreviations were changed to two letters. The fabric is Organza trimmed with Lavender Rick-Rack along the top edge, around the pocket, and near the bottom of the apron. From one end of the waist tie, across the top edge to the end of the other waist tie, the measurement is about 74 inches. The length of the apron from the top of the waistband to the hem is almost 20 inches. Style No. 99These aprons have been stored in an attic for the last 40 or 50 years. The organza one has some light yellowing on the ties but no rips, tears or stains. It has been washed but needs ironing. The cotton one has a slightly darker area on the tip of one of the panels (see photo 7) and at the top near the band. Examine all photos closely.
