Description: Submitted for your approval, and highest bid:Lot of fifteen (15) different empty hardshell silk-lined, felt-covered display/gift/presentation boxes with hinged lids, designed for belt buckles and other jewelry items, manufactured in the 1990s onward. Largest item measures 5 inches by 3 inches. This rare lot is in Very Good or better condition, with visible signs of light external wear from storage and light staining seen on the inside lining of at least one, well preserved for their age. All cases have fully functioning attached lid closures, though the lid on the purple case does not close completely. On the outside of each is felt lining the tops and bottoms in a variety of solid colors. Note that all items are used and most have imperfections that might make them less appropriate for gift-giving than for shelf and countertop display of contents. Not all interior lining is silk and some are missing the bottom padding. Some have abrasions to the felt surface and at least two have smooth vinyl exteriors rather than felt. See enclosed pictures for detail. Various maker's marks can be seen on the inside lid of some of the boxes, with Swank and Award Design Medals being two examples. The Parker case originally housed a knife and most of the other items were designed for belt buckles, though most any similarly sized jewelry item will fit comfortably inside each box. The largest case was manufactured by Western Heritage Company and once contained an oversized belt buckle.Observe the amazing detail of this fine collectible lot!
