Limited Edition SANSUI AU-α607 MOS Premium Integrated Amplifier - Vintage

Description: I bought this SANSUI AU-α607 MOS Premium at an auction last year. It powers on, and the protection light turns off after a few seconds, but no sound (except a little static when volume control is moved). The Power Amp Direct switch seems stuck, but I don’t think that’s the problem because there’s no sound even when “Source Power Direct” is set to “Off”. I’m selling this as a “parts/repair” unit. No idea what’s wrong with it, hoping someone who knows more than I do can bring it back to life. Here’s a bit of info I found about this model: The power stage uses a pair of 2SK405/2SJ115 MOS FETs capable of high-speed amplification, and the advanced α-X balanced circuit demonstrates the capabilities of the elements to obtain a high degree of stability and delicate expressiveness. The advanced α-X balanced circuit is structured with dedicated amplifiers on the + and - sides of the output, and the circuit itself cancels external noise and common-mode distortion by a push-pull system that drives the speaker with a total of four amplifiers from both directions. In addition, the new diamond differential circuit, which can supply a large instantaneous current, achieves low impedance, clean and excellent operating characteristics. The power supply section uses a newly developed power transformer and electrolytic capacitors, and the power supply section is completely independent and separated from the ground in a closed-loop configuration to suppress any negative effects on the music signal caused by unbalanced power supply.Check my feedback and buy with confidence!
