Description: Up for auction we have this large Sunderland lusterware pitcher with a Sailors Farewell transfer and ship transfer with sailors tear poem. Made for a Frances Gibbons Pagham 1850. This is an impressive looking piece measuring 11 1/4” from the tip of the spout to the handle by 9” tall. The luster is quite bright and beautiful with the black transfers. In excellent condition with no chips,cracks or repairs. There is a in the making imperfection on the inside of the spout from when it was joined to the body.
