Description: This is a Laurie Gates design of four square dinner plates, nine inch in diameter. They do have a nice weight to them. Two are tan and two are done in green. These background colors were done in a very thin coating leaving a gorgeous streaked effect. An amazing background setting to now apply the focal point. In this design it is none other, "strutting his stuff", but the rooster. Take a look at him and I think you will see why I just had to have this set! I don't think that this dinner set is limited to strictly country, farmhouse, or cottage core. I think the rooster theme works also well with contemporary. If we asked all women to raise their hand who have never bought anything "rooster", I think very few hands would be raised. After all, who doesn't like a good rooster? LOL. Finding someone to love them as I do, that will make them smile each time they pull them out of the cupboard, would make me so happy.
