FRENCH EMPIRE NEO CLASSIC GREEN ONYX MARBLE BRONZE TABLE LAMP 1930'S DESIGN: A sophisticated and elaborately detailed large Green Onyx Marble & Bronze/Brass French Empire Gothic Neo Classic table lamp designed and manufactured by Mutual Sunset Lighting Co. circa 1930's. The striking translucent variegated Green Onyx colored body with its' elaborately detailed French Empire Bronze patine'd hardware forms a stunning profile that creates a profound visual statement, all expertly crafted and assembled to the high standards MSLC lighting of the era. Comprised completely of select highly polished Onyx Marble, solid patine'd Bronze forms and Brass hardware. The original elaborate matching Onyx & Brass Finial crowns a complimentary lamp shade which is a contemporary replacement that adds a sophisticated tone while casting the ideal ambient light upon the finely detailed form.CONDITION: This rare & unique lamp is in exceptional original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Very minimal signs of wear with no damage or repair issues with just light wear and faint patina to the Bronze/Brass finishes. Original pull chain sockets have been inspected and appear to be clean and safe, power cord has been replaced with rayon wrapped insulated wiring and is completely safe and functional. The Off White colored Silk-like shade is a contemporary replacement and essentially perfect. DIMENSIONS: This lamp is of substantial size being LARGE, solid and HEAVY @ 16 lbs. with general dimensions of 31" tall with a width of 5.5" to the base, the shade is 15" wide X 10" high, the shades delivered may vary in fabric and dimensions ever so slightly due to suppliers availability.
