Description: This GORGEOUS cotton 1930's "Boston Commons" quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted, with solid blue accents and a classic diamond-in-a-square design.It measures 82" X 86" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. There is quilting around the perimeter of each piece and in orange peel, fan, and grid designs in the background, all at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched binding is solid blue, and the batting is thin. The quilt came out of Kenton County, Kentucky. The BEAUTIFUL FABRICS and GREAT DESIGN make this vintage CLASSIC stand out!
