Description: This is a Elgin ladies watch from the 1950s that you would pin on your shirt.It has a windup 21 jewel USA movement. The case is gold filled and made by Ross. The frame for the watch is also marked Ross gold filled. You wear the watch upside down and swing it up to see the time.I ran it for 24 hours and it is running really well but not keeping time.I think the cannon pinion is loose, the hands move way too easy.It measures 35mm wide at the base and 35mm tall. No wear but it does have some nicks and scratches from use.I think you just need to service it and/or tighten the cannon pinion.I have had this for years and it is the only one I have seen.It will be shipped in a box.
