Description: Mid Century Modern Kensington Ware Aluminum Sugar and Creamer Set w/Wood Handles Vintage ITEM DESCRIPTION: Kensington Ware is a product of ALCOA, manufactured in Kensington, Pennsylvania from 1934 to 1970. It is an Art Deco inspired design in a modern style with classic accents. ALCOA's line of ServeWare is made from an aluminum alloy that is resistant to rust, corrosion and tarnishing. Think of it as pre-Nambe. It is stylish and practical. This sugar and creamer belonged to my Aunt and I believe it was manufactured in the early 1950's. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition! Super clean! A few very tiny scratches due to it's age. They are hardly noticeable. The lid moves around a bit, however it is made of thin aluminum and looks like it was never a perfect fit, even when new. Wooden handles like new. Displays very nicely!
