Description: Original Karl Springer Lacquered Linen dining table measuring 60 inches by 36 inches. The lacquered linen base is in the colorway "Bisque" and measures 16" square and 28.5" tall before the glass surface. The glass is 36" by 60", with a small chip on one corner. The base can adapt to a square or round table top, in addition to a rectangle. Purchased from Karl Springer in the early 1980s for my NYC apartment through decorator, Robert Metzger. His work was often seen in the pages of Architectural Digest, Town and Country, and Maison et Jardin in France. Mr. Metzger was inducted into the Interior Design Hall of Fame in 1991. This is ready for pickup in Rumson, NJ. We are located one hour south of NYC and one hour east of Philadelphia. We are happy to work with whichever shipper you select. We also recommend uShip.com, an ebay partner.
