But first an explanation is in order: Go play the live version of "Grape Fruit, Juicy Fruit" Jimmy talks about taking his date to the good ol' "Islander Drive-in" to "commit a little mortal sin". He feeds her some Gilbey's Gin and Welch's Grape Juice to create "Purple Passion" and then "had a good go at it".Well, as you can see in the photos above, I have the real, honest to goodness last of the actual "Island Drive-in" tickets known to exist on the planet. Yup....the real deal. How'd I get 'em? Never mind. Let's just say I was at the right time at the Drive-in when they were about to tear it down (photo above shows the condition it was in) and sweet talked the old gentleman who lived next door and acted as the custodian, into giving me some. When these are gone, they're gone. This is not a scam, not a joke, these are actual "Islander Drive-in" tickets you can frame, put on your wall, give to friends, what ever.I will mail you two adult and two child's tickets for the paltry sum of $7.50 and that includes postage.
