Description: Here is a very nice Jane and Gordon Martz Marshall Studios mosaic tile trivet with beautiful matte green blue rectangular tiles set in a walnut footed frame. Hand made in Veedersburg Indiana, the firm is famous for their lamps and tile tables. Both Jane and Gordon attended the NY School of Clayworking at Alfred University. This piece measures 8 1/2 inches square and 1 inch high. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Unsigned. Contemporaries of Gertrude and Otto Natzler, Edwin and Mary Scheier, Beatrice Wood, and Maija Grotell, this is an excellent piece of mid-century modern MCM ceramics.
